Advocate utilizes a powerful combination of Imidacloprid and Moxidectin. These active ingredients disrupt the parasite's central nervous system, leading to paralysis and death. Because Advocate kills on contact, fleas do not need to bite your dog for the treatment to be effective.
Preparation: Remove the pipette from the package, hold it upright, and pull off the cap.
Positioning: Have your dog stand in a comfortable position. For extra large dogs, the application should be spread across 3–4 spots starting from the base of the skull and moving down the backbone.
Application: Part the fur until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the open pipette on the bare skin and squeeze to pour out the entire contents.
Drying: Allow the site to dry completely. Ensure children and other pets do not groom or play with the treated dog until the area is dry.
Heartworm Testing: Always have your pet tested for existing heartworm infections by a vet before beginning the treatment.
Age Limit: Do not apply to puppies younger than 7 weeks old.
